would like to say this barbershop is amazing. I understand you have your own barber and don’t want to cheat on them but when my barber is out at this location; I wouldn’t hesitate to go to any of the barbers here. I currently get my haircuts by Anthony but anyone in those chairs are capable of cutting my hair. they also cut my son’s hair and others. barbers are nice and patient & also provide a little relief from a demanding day of work or parenting. they are entertaining and great people to shoot the s&!@ with. Best cuts in the area!  Everyone is nice and welcoming.  They are all great at what they do and help each other perfect the cuts.  I go to John and my cuts are perfect every time!

Great barbershop!!!  I highly recommend this place!! I’ve been going to this place for 2 years, Brian has done a terrific job!!! He has been cutting my hair for 2 year.  If you ever go to this place to get a decent haircut, ask for Brian.  He will cut your hair real good!!!  The other guys are good too!! The atmosphere of the place is clean and professional!!  It’s located right in town, it’s very close!!  If you ever in town, I highly recommend this place!!!

A job well done. You can also use the website to make a reservation if need be. Minimal parking in front but plenty of parking in the back. Located directly across from city hall.

John has always done a great job on my haircuts since I started going to his shop 6 years ago. This was my first time going back since before the pandemic started. The shop was clean and following Covid protocols. I would recommend Urban Shave to anyone looking for a new barber.

Absolutely love this place when I moved to the area I couldn't find a good barber. I stumbled on to this place by luck walked there was a wait but not to bad. After getting my haircut I was extremely pleased with the results have been going there ever since 5 years now. all the barbers are very skilled but I deal with Jason first chair. You can even call in and see if anyone has an opening so you don't have to wait. Extremely recommend go check them out you won't regret it!!!!

I enjoy the ease of making an appointment using their Urban Shave app. I make the schedule (app't) using there app for my three sons and I and John is there cutting our hair. I can't complain my family and I receive great service. Atmosphere in the shop is great and the Barbers are very professional.

What i like about Urban Shave is not having to deal with the Anxiety of making an appointment they offer a smartphone app which allows me to see what time slots are available making the entire experience feel seamless. Since i started using this system i haven't waited for a hair cut for more then 10 minutes. My Barber Dave takes extremely good care of me and makes it a point to make sure i don't leave until i get to what i have expected to be the best haircut every time. Great Barber Shop. One of the Barbers John Cruz  has cut my hair for over 10 years. All of the other barbers are highly skilled and the shop is in a great area.

Urban Shave is the best Barber shop in the New Jersey area with Barbers who are perfectionists that are amazing at their craft. The owner John has even placed in Barber Battles in the area with the Fastest Fade. A family friendly place where kids can play Xbox while they wait for a haircut. It's right in the heart of Scotch Plains and is the best in th area. Once you start going there you will never have to search for a great barber again. They are exceptional at shape ups and beards as well. Clean shop and I'm never disappointed with my cut. You'll always look fresh to death when you leave Urban Shave. Five starts hands down I would have gave it 10 if I could.
